CURRICULUM

At Tot Time, the goal of our program is to address each child’s total development. Our curriculum exposes children to a wide range of age-appropriate concepts and activities to expand their world and prepare them for their next academic phase. With monthly themes, children can explore ideas in a fun and unique way.

The cornerstone of our program is daily Bible lessons. Using stories and songs, we work to build a strong Biblical foundation that children can carry through life. Our teachers model God’s unconditional love, so children feel happy, confident, and eager to learn.

Our pre-kindergarten curriculum also includes an introduction to phonics, language arts, geography, math concepts, and science.

At Tot Time, we want to give our children time to be children. Our program encourages learning and development through exploration and play. We believe lifelong learners are created when we make education active and fun!

SPECIALTY PROGRAMS

One of the distinctions of Tot Time is our specialty programs: Art, Music, and My Gym.

In our Art classes, the children will enhance their fine and gross motor skills with the use of different tools and techniques. They will explore their God-given creative talents while making something they’ll be proud to show off.

Music enhances all areas of child development. It helps the body and mind work together while allowing self-expression. Singing, listening, dancing, and instrument play are components of each class. Concepts build in complexity as the children get older. When your children come home singing their new favorite songs, it will bring a smile to your face.

My Gym is a bi-monthly gymnastics and physical education class taught by trained teachers from the My Gym studio. Classes help children build healthy habits to last a lifetime. The children have loads of fun as they gain strength, balance, coordination, agility, flexibility, and social skills. We keep children healthy by making fitness fun!

These specialty programs quickly become favorites and help the children explore new talents and self-expression.

CLASSES

Tot Time offers classes for preschoolers age 1 through transitional-kindergarten. Classes meet from 9:15am to 1:00pm on a variety of days, depending on age. Our highly qualified teachers understand the characteristics of their age group and are well prepared with a variety of lessons and activities for each day. Class size is small to ensure that each child receives the individual attention he/she needs, with each class having a lead and assistant teacher. The ratios below reflect normal school year enrollment.
