Sandy was born in Michigan but moved to Florida at the age of 10. After completing a degree in Elementary Education, she taught 4th grade at a Christian school in Bradenton, Florida. She and her husband, John, have three grown children (who all attended Tot Time!!) and two grandsons. After raising her children, Sandy went back to teaching 4th grade at a local Christian school in Charlotte. In 2018, God led her from full-time teaching to her current position as Tot Time Director. Tot Time holds a special place in her heart as a past parent, past Tot Time teacher, current Director, and now a grandparent of a current student!

Tricia was born in Chicago but spent her middle school and high school years in Connecticut. After graduating with a degree in Finance from Wake Forest (where she also met her husband) she moved to Charlotte to pursue a career in banking. After a few years in Charlotte, and with a young family at home (two girls 18 months apart) she decided to transition to being at home full-time, and enjoyed many years of PTA volunteering, play dates, and all the other things that come along with that busy stage of life. She joined the Tot Time staff in 2016 to teach music, added art in 2021, and most recently added the admin role to her weekly schedule. When not enjoying the hallways of Tot Time, you can find her baking cakes, flying to Chicago to visit her college age girls (both attending Wheaton College), or enjoying a walk on the greenway with her little dog and husband!
